The XL-A is an analytical centrifuge, that measures physical properties of sedimenting particle.

Sample Prep:
Based on the sedimentation caused by high speed spinning, we can help you calculate the molecular weight and sedimentation coefficient, moreover, you can examine the sample purity, the association, conformation changes among other things.


To run a velocity test, the sample cannot be at equilibrium before the run.
A run requires 450uL of sample and 470uL of buffer, and we can provide you with both absorbance and interference data.


AUC: O.D. 0.5~1.2, Buffer is the buffer that suits the sample; water or Tris are some of the choices.
